Subject: Is the brain training "ideals" somewhat narcissistic?
Is the obsession with intelligence, supplements and physical fitness
although healthy and good, somewhat fueling narcissistic ideals where life
is all about being intelligent and muscular? A sort of a "nazi light".
A bit of a generalization, I know there are people that are not like this
and I am not saying that anyone is bad person, but still, I get the hunch
that many have these ideals, including myself. The obession
in becoming a better more fit and healthy human. Might there be a line
where popping pills, doing mental and physical training becomes unhealthy,
or those it only raise awareness on how to feel and function better?
What do you think? Has anyone changed their ways of living after picking up
anything from here.
